You have made it to the Easter break. Well done, everyone. A well-deserved rest ahead for us all (and some assignment writing, no doubt). It really does seem like there is one final push next half-term.
Teaching at 80% is immediately after the Easter break. Please note that during this phase, you are planning like an ECT. You are not required to submit any formal lesson plans for any of your lessons, but are of course expected to plan in a way that works for you and your mentor! No winging it! If your mentor feels your teaching is suffering due to the relaxation of formal planning, they will speak to us, and we will make a plan to address things. As you have had five weeks of planning in full in your new school, we think you will fly.
Next week:
There is no training in the week after Easter. You are in school every day.
Things to be working
UA2. The submission deadline is Monday, 13th April.
Gap Analysis 2 and SEND 2. Don't forget that SEND 2 requires you to reflect on a series of lessons in relation to a specific pupil - don't start too late.
